With a public relations career spanning nearly two decades, Jennifer views PR as a calling. For her, it’s about the transformation that comes from insightful conversations along the way. From coaching clients to find their voice to advocating for change and helping businesses make their mark in a big box world, Jennifer is all about making a lasting impact.

At Approach, Jennifer supports a wide range of public relations and marketing accounts, offering services including media relations, interpersonal communication, strategic planning, brand management, crisis communication, spokesperson training, writing and social media programs.

Jennifer values the opportunity to connect with her clients, getting to know them, their company and what they’re trying to accomplish. From there, she digs deep to uncover hidden gems about the company or their employees and then develops ways to infuse creativity and innovation into their communication and storytelling strategy.

Prior to becoming a consultant, Jennifer served as the Media Relations Manager for the Illinois Division of the American Cancer Society where she led all public relations activities and outreach to the Chicago media market.

Jennifer also spent six years at the Chicago headquarters of Edelman, a leading public relations agency, where she managed each client account from strategy development and budget through implementation. 

Jennifer has worked with numerous clients including, Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana, Flying Horse Farms, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, The Ohio Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and The Wexner Medical Center. 

Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Ohio University.
