JAMIE ROTHFELD, Account Director
While her family and friends may get dizzy listening to her seemingly infinite list of daily questions, it’s Jamie inquisitive mind and constant curiosity that spark a sincere and genuine interest in all of the clients that she serves.
For more than a decade, Jamie has honed her public relations and corporate communications skills to lead successful and targeted programs in the consumer and corporate sectors.
Her work has taken her all around the world – from Bentonville, Arkansas to Tokyo, Japan – giving Jamie a new and cultured perspective that has strengthened her ability to deliver strong results.
Prior to joining Approach Marketing, Jamie worked at Hyatt’s global headquarters in Chicago, leading the public relations and communications efforts for the company’s global luxury brand portfolio.
She logged thousands of miles and visited countless countries to help open new hotels and develop strong media relationships.
Jamie was also proud to spearhead efforts around Hyatt’s corporate responsibility platform through a national partnership with the global non-profit education organization, Khan Academy.
After studying broadcast journalism at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and realizing that being on-air might not be her big dream after all, Jamie found herself at Golin Public Relations pursuing a career she truly loved. She’s been asking questions ever since.
Jamie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
Okay, so I wasn’t exactly on the cover of Comso, but I did secure a two-page article in the magazine as a young girl (I should have known then that PR was the right career for me!). I survived a very rare disease and shared my story in CosmoGirl to educate other teens.
