BRITTANY ROUSE, Account Manager

 

Brittany kicked off her career managing game day media relations for the Chicago Bears. It was her dream job. Or so she thought. What she immediately realized was that her true calling was to work in partnership with the media by counseling a variety of clients on how to better craft and share their stories.

Today, Brittany serves as an Account Manager for Approach overseeing a number of clients and projects with a focus on food & beverage. With a talent for strategic planning, media relations and event planning, Brittany enjoys the challenges of the day-to-day work and prides herself on constantly delivering for her clients, whether working alongside a start-up, non-profit organization or Fortune 500 company.

Brittany was previously an Account Group Supervisor at Golin, an award winning, Chicago-based PR agency. During her eight-year tenure, Brittany supported many of the agency’s top clients including, McDonald’s, Walmart, adidas, MillerCoors and Purina. She was at the helm of many priority programs for McDonald’s U.S., including the McDonald’s All American Games, McCafe, Family Business and Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Throughout her career, Brittany has worked with the likes of celebrity spokespeople such as LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Alonzo Mourning, Jabari Parker, Doc River, Ciara and Ne-Yo. She is proud to have landed top media placements for her clients with outlets like The Today Show, Fox & Friends, ESPN, Sports Illustrated, USA Today and the Wall Street Journal, among others.

Brittany holds a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
