MY APPROACH TO BUILDING A SUCCESSFUL PR CAMPAIGN is to see each client through a fresh lens and implement a custom-created program that fits its brand essence, audience and goals. Small, medium and large businesses alike deserve a ‘no cookie-cutter’ approach.

BIOGRAPHY

APRYL ASH, Account Manager

Apryl Ash is a seasoned PR professional who thrives on developing and leading insights-driven communications strategies that meet clients’ business and marketing objectives. As a strategic thinker who also sweats the details, she is integral to every facet of a campaign from overseeing partnerships to event planning to content creation to traditional and social media relations.

In 2009, Apryl became an independent consultant and put her wealth of experience to work by helping small businesses get off the ground and build brand awareness—turning an established pet product into a lifestyle brand, giving medical studies and experts national exposure, supporting franchises in delivering a clear and consistent message across all markets and shining a light on causes people can rally behind.

Apryl has collaborated with and acted as an extension of agencies and in-house teams to manage and execute PR programming for Jockey, Kellogg’s, Dove, Walmart and The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

Apryl previously worked in the Chicago office of Edelman, where she immersed herself in consumer marketing campaigns for SC Johnson and Shell Oil.

Throughout the years, Apryl has orchestrated and secured coverage for her clients in top tier outlets, such as the Associated Press, Good Housekeeping, Woman’s Day and USA Today. As quoted by the Director of Home Appliances and Cleaning Products at Good Housekeeping magazine’s Good Housekeeping Institute, “Apryl is the consummate public relations professional. She represents her clients well and is someone I always counted on…she truly makes an editor’s job much easier.”

Apryl discovered her interest in and passion for public relations while obtaining her bachelor of science in journalism at Ohio University.
