Liz’s PR career began at Ketchum, a large agency in Chicago. She served as an account supervisor for Eastman Kodak, Whitewave Foods and Discover Card, and spearheaded media relations, and event-management activities for those clients.

That led Liz to Golin, a global PR agency, where she served as an account manager for a variety of global and national programs for McDonald’s, including the Beijing Olympic Games, McDonald’s Mom’s Correspondents and the FIFA World Cup South Africa. She also worked on World Children’s Day, McDonald’s largest fundraiser for Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC), and the McDonald’s All American Basketball Games, an all-star basketball event that raises funds and awareness for RMHC.

Liz Woerth has 14 years of PR and marketing communications experience that spans industries from business-to-consumer, business-to-business, sports, professional services and nonprofit organizations.

Liz then relocated to Ohio and worked remotely for Golin. During that time she led the McDonald’s All American Games and POWERADE Jam Fest in Columbus, where she worked in partnership with the Schottenstein Center, Columbus Sports Commission, local PR and marketing agencies, McDonald’s owner/operators and RMHC of Central Ohio.

Liz has been consulting for Approach Marketing for over three years, where she works with both national and local clients in a variety of industries. 

Liz graduated from Ohio University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism and a major in public relations.
